smile! Oh, on second thought..
smile! Oh, on second thought.. I have been doing photography for about 50 years or so. That does not put be in the era of the 'dageurrotype', but I did get seriously into photography at about the time when Single Lens Reflex compact cameras were becoming popular. My favorite was a small rangefinder, which I took with me on my travels in Asia, simply because it did not have all the lenses an SLR had, so was easier to maintain. I actually took in the order of 10,000 photos with it before the shutter gave out and I gave to an uncle for parts. Now I use digital. It's a smaller camera, poorer rendition and paralax, but it gets the photo onto my computer. I may get back into a more elaborate SLR-type digital one of these days. But I find that I've seen everything..
