Who else doesn't like having their picture taken? I'm looking to make interesting new friends. I just have trouble making new friends as I'm introverted and lack the capacity to endure small talk and meaningless chatter - I much prefer to talk about something meaningful and consequential than the latest television series everyone likes.

I'm a computer geek, friendly, a little bit nuts (in a good way) and I like anything interesting. I like to think of myself as intelligent enough to know how little I know. I try to know a little bit about everything, but it's always easier with friends who can help expand your horizons.

I like good films, comedy (particularly Brit comedy), science fiction, Terry Pratchett novels, squash, photography, the outdoors (so long as there is something worth photographing), computers, geekiness and recreational walrus cleaning.

I was born in Sri Lanka and have lived in Australia, Zimbabwe, Malawi and now in New Zealand for 14 years.
