philip king I will try to write down, using Dragon software, a bit about my testament to see what you thought. I didn't know where to start so I thought I would start by thanking you and the house group particularly for supporting me. As you well know St Thomas’s is very hard to get into sometimes, it is extremely big church and due to my disabilities I have found St Thomas’s very hard. At the same time it has given me something I have missed. I can't believe how much my spiritual life has improved since I started coming to our house group and then the church. So to go back to my testament I thought I would start at the very beginning. Not many people know when I was born I my intestine was not inside my stomach, it was in my plasenta, I was in fact the eighth child that the experimental procedure had been done. This was done at Stoke Mandaville hospital which was the first hospital to try this. God must of planned for my mum to be in the right hospital at the right time for me to survive, however as I don't remember this are obvious reasons this did not change my life what really changed my life I believe is not just my parents being Christians but when I saw what happened to my grandfather when he became a Christian. He went from being a person I did not really get on with, in fact did not like, to being someone I really loved. He did not have much time for me before he became a Christian, but after that I have some real fond memories of my relationship with him. Unfortunately when I was 14 he died, but in a way this gave me the proverbial kick up the backside to get my life and myself sorted out. Not go into a lot of detail, but my life was not going very well at school. I had been involved in some fights I had done a lot of things wasn't proud of, but when my grandfather died it told me life was short and I needed to think what would happen to me next after I died, and what I believed in now and what I wanted to believe. I started to ask that question to myself and God
