Movin on up I started taking pictures 22 years ago at age 8 using a simple 110mm "spycam" from a scholastic book order.
At age 12 I stepped up to a cheap Nikon 35mm, which I mainly used on vacations, field trips, and family functions.
Around age 17 I inherited one of my Dad's old cameras, which was pretty decent, though I cannot remember the maker.
At age 23 I got a Canon Powershot A610 Digital Camera, which I thought was great, it had 8 variable settings, 5 mega pixels, stitch-assist for panoramic shots, and another 12 sub-settings. I used the hell out of that camera, by the time my other half accidentally killed it early this year it had taken over 131,345 pictures.
In 2010, I think, we got our current camera, a Canon Powershot SX30 IS which has some additional features from the A610 as well as 14.1 Mega Pixels HD 35x optical zoom, and a larger viewing screen. What an I say I'm a Canon man.
